Noesis is an animated stop-motion short about growing up.
Noesis is my MA graduation film, and has been developed during the MA Animation at the University of the West of England with the help of a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Programme (DAAD).
The film has been traditionally animated under camera, with papier-mâché as the main modelmaking material. The film’s title refers to the philosophical term noesis, which describes the mental process of applying sense to an object and acquiring knowledge through reasoning.
The film has its own microsite, which I built in 2014 as a responsive one-page website. more info
